When pairing both the Trailer Buddy Rear and Front ramps, the 3-inches of equal lift on all four of the vehicle's tires provides better access to tie down points and in some cases, even helping the door clear the wheel well.
Our Trailer Buddy for the front tires serve two purposes. First, the grooved design provides a cradle for your front tire. When you find the balanced "sweet spot" for your vehicle's front tires, placing the Trailer Buddy ramps in the exact location each time provides consistent positioning during each loading. Also, the Trailer Buddy's cradle design provides an indicator for the driver when the vehicle is resting in its ideal position.
At 14-inches wide, the maximum recommended tire width to use on these ramps is 12-inches. Weighing just 5 lbs. per ramp, each pair of ramps supports 3,500 lbs. combined for an overall vehicle weight capacity of 7,000 lbs.
Made with 100% solid core high density EPS foam and finished with a polyurea coating, these ramps are lightweight but have strength and durability. They stand up to most automotive fluids and chemicals.
